Outreach

The Reno High School Football Teams are proud to work with a number of organizations throughout the community. Football players, coaches and parents participate annually in the Walk to Cure Diabetes. They distribute discount cards at a reduced price or even free to children in transition. Parents, players and friends of the program volunteer numerous hours to arrange golf and poker tournaments, to manage the snack bar at games and provide team dinners, lunches and breakfasts with all proceeds going to the football program. In addition, coaches collaborate with local middle schools to educate eighth graders on the importance of being a student-athlete and invite the Reno Huskies SYFL teams to attend all Reno High Football Games.
